Indian pacer Praveen Kumar has been ruled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 due to elbow injury.

According to the sources, Praveen has not fully recovered from the injury, which is the prime reason to keep him out of the mega event.
Praveen had hurt his elbow during the practice session in South Africa.
He had been forced to leave the South Africa ODI series midway. It is expected that Kerela pacer S Sreesanth will replace him in the side.
It will be major jolt to team India before the quadrilateral extravaganza, beginning from February 19 in Sub-Continent (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh).
Praveen Kumar has been the key bowler for India and his ability to move bowl both ways might have been proved vital for India.
